School Age Program Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff for all assigned programs.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of REACH Extended Care, Day Camp, Teen Programs, and school-based Enrichment Programs.
  • Prepare and manage budgets; track KPIs and create monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and bi-weekly payroll submission.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Valley View School District staff and Community Partners.
  • Ensure all program areas meet safety, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Oversee program supplies, purchasing, and vendor relations.
  • Assist with organization and facilitation of special events in cooperation with the Superintendent of Recreations- Aquatics/Programs.
  • Work with the Marketing Department to promote programs and stay current with marketing trends.
  • Foster a positive team environment and address participant or parent concerns.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or administrative recreation experience.
  • Strong background in programming, youth services, or special events.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
  •  Certified Park and Recreation Professional preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Vermont Systems (VSI) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
