School Age Program Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff for all assigned programs.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of REACH Extended Care, Day Camp, Teen Programs, and school-based Enrichment Programs.
- Prepare and manage budgets; track KPIs and create monthly/quarterly reports.
- Coordinate staff scheduling and bi-weekly payroll submission.
- Maintain strong relationships with Valley View School District staff and Community Partners.
- Ensure all program areas meet safety, quality, and customer service standards.
- Oversee program supplies, purchasing, and vendor relations.
- Assist with organization and facilitation of special events in cooperation with the Superintendent of Recreations- Aquatics/Programs.
- Work with the Marketing Department to promote programs and stay current with marketing trends.
- Foster a positive team environment and address participant or parent concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, or related field required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or administrative recreation experience.
- Strong background in programming, youth services, or special events.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
- Certified Park and Recreation Professional preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Vermont Systems (VSI) preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
